Too %&^$&* Many Penguins On The Ice!

tickyboxesHow do an officiating crew who are allegedly amongst the best the NHL has to offer manage to miss six skaters and a goalie on the ice for 21 seconds?
I mean, the one point about 5 minutes into the third period when the Penguins had SEVEN skaters and a goalie, at least two of those guys were close to the bench and making an active effort to get off- still, they were seven on five for a touch over a second.
But TWENTY-ONE SECONDS? That's egregiously bad.
While we're on the subject of bad, why is Samuelsson still in the lineup? He looks as if he's squeezing the stick too tightly, and was brutally bad for the third game in a row- passing when he should shoot and shooting when he should pass. If Draper's back able to go again, he'd seem to be an improvement everywhere except at the point on the second powerplay unit.
